4Th International Roundtable Ed – Leader was held from 1st – 4th August 2010 at City Montessori School, Lucknow with the help of Global Education USA. The main aim of conference is to develop of leadership potential of school directors and heads, as well as inspiration of teachers to bring about meaningful change in education. The Educationist, NGO heads and policy makers are likewise invited. There were Innovation Awards in three different categories. The Categories of Awards:1. Ed Leader Innovative Fellowship (100 numbers) it consists a certificate and a trophy with Cash of Rs.2001 each. 2. Ed Leadership Innovation Award (05 numbers) it consists a certificate and a trophy with a cheque of Rs.10000/- each .3. Ed Leadership Out standing Contribution in Education Award (02 numbers) it consists a certificate and a trophy with a cheque of Rs.25000/- each.
Nearly 540 participants from 18 different countries have participated in 4th Ed Leadership Roundtable.Sh. M. S. Solanki, Director (Academic & Training) represented Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, NCO, Bhopal. He had given a presentation on his Innovative device to teach the validity of many theorems, axioms and problems of school geometry and known as "SOLANKI'S MULTIPURPOSE MODEL – A practical way to learn Geometry" on 4th Aug. 2010 in the International Auditorium of CMS in pre lunch - a planetary session.As per the feedback received from the teachers, principals, directors and educators. It was an excellent and very useful device. He also gave different methods to make Joyful learning of Mathematics. The selection team selected unanimously Sh. M. S. Solanki, Director (Academic & Training) of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan for the highest category of awards i. e. "Ed Leadership Out standing Contribution in Education Award-2010" for his over efforts, innovations, and contributions to make 'Mathematics' a very interesting subject. He was showered with the gifts, certificate, memento and a cheque of Rs. 25000/-. A NGO from Hyderabad has also awarded in this category.It is a matter of great pride for the Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, India and Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools.
Sh. Solanki said that he had invented this device to teach geometry nearly 25 years ago and he was regularly using it when he was Mathematics teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. But real recognition came now, after joining Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan - Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group.
Thus Sh. Solanki is considering that it is all due to blessings of divine Gurudev and His Holiness Maharishi Ji and regular practice of TM & Sidhi.
